So I finally got around to watching Superman (2025) the much hyped reboot from James Gunn’s DC Universe. I’ve been a die-hard DC fan for years (yes, even during the chaotic Snyderverse days 😅), and I have to say… this movie surprised me in ways I didn’t expect.

David Corenswet steps into the red cape this time and honestly? He pulls it off. I was skeptical at first (Henry Cavill fans, I hear you), but Corenswet’s Clark is charming, idealistic, and just vulnerable enough to feel fresh. Plus, his chemistry with Lois (played by Rachel Brosnahan) is a big win.

Tone & Balance: The film balances emotion, action, and humor really well. It’s not as dark as previous iterations, but it’s not Marvel-style goofy either.
